Quarterback Jordan Love is already starting to draw the attention of scouts. Love has performed for the Utah State Aggies over the past few years. Love continues to impress scouts with his arm and his consistent play throughout his college career. Love may not get the attention that Herbert, Burrow, or Tua do, but his play is consistent, and he could wind up being drafted in the first round.
Love has started to move up draft boards the past few weeks and many teams seem to want to get a better look at him. Love has impressive accuracy with his throws and has a strong enough arm to pass into tight coverage. Love has good athletic ability and looks to make the throw before leaving the pocket. Love is always looking to create a play and does not mind using his legs to pick up necessary yards.
Love needs to improve his decision making when it comes to trying to force the ball into situations. Love has tremendous confidence in his arm and that can lead to turnovers if his decision making is not on point. Love would benefit from staying in the pocket not taking the hits that he has taken over the past few seasons with Utah State. Jordan has a solid skill set but and a team will draft him early and just look to iron out some of the rough areas.
Love is another quarterback that will likely be drafted in the mid-first to early second round. Love is an intriguing player with an impressive skill set. I like his arm but I have a few quarterbacks ahead of him on my draft board.
