The Virginia Cavaliers have become a consistent team on the defensive side of the ball. The Virginia secondary has been led by Bryce Hall and he will hear his name called at the NFL Draft this year. Hall has been a starter since he was a true freshman and is a high character player with the Cavaliers. It’s a not question of if Hall will be selected, but when?
Bryce Hall has been a starter since the day he stepped foot on campus at Virginia. Hall is an aggressive defender, which can cause the wide receivers to get frustrated and make mistakes in the route. Hall is excellent when it comes to making a play on the ball, he will bat the ball away and pick off the occasional pass. Hall is a high character guy that is great in the community and will be great for any team that drafts him.
Hall has a tendency to take risks in pass coverage. Hall attempting to pick off the pass and play the ball has caused him to give up the big play. The one question that tends to present itself with Hall is whether or not he can play press coverage?
Hall is a skilled player who will go in the middle to late-first round. Hall could fall into the second if he is not impressive at the combine or at his pro day, but I would expect him to go in the first and give a team a solid first round selection.
