Home of the NFL Offseason

CB Cameron Dantzler, Mississippi State

HT: 6’2″
WT: 185 lbs
DOB: 9/3/1998

Accolades: 2019 Pre-Season All-American.

Speed/Athleticism: Solid athleticism and speed. Excellent change of direction skills.

Coverage Ability: While Dantzler is a good man coverage guy, his bread and butter is zone coverage. He would fit well in a cover-two defensive scheme. Great footwork allows him to control his body and make excellent plays routinely.

Ball Skills: Consistent ball skills. His numbers increased each season, showing continual improvement. Knows how to bait quarterbacks into thinking they have a safe throw.

Tackling Ability: Vicious tackling form. Punishes receivers with excellent form and incredible intensity. Takes good pursuit angles.

Football IQ/Awareness: N/A

Leadership/Personality: N/A

Overall: Cameron Dantzler has some frame to fill out on his body currently. NFL teams will hold that against him but you can barely tell on tape. He’s a lockdown corner with a physical play style that NFL teams love to have around. He’s an early day two guy to me, even possibly could sneak into the first round with a good draft process.
