Home of the NFL Offseason

Erik Hindenburg’s November Big Board: Top 50

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’d like to say I’m thankful that the Draft is closer with each and every week. And, I’m thankful for you giving those of us here at DraftRite a chance to provide you draft coverage. Now that that’s done, it’s time to unveil my current top 50 prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft. Some names are sure to surprise, as will the omission and placement of others. These rankings will change between now and April, I havent put prospects through my grading scale yet. That scale helps remove bias, separate players that clump together at certain positions, and give me a more complete view of a player. There’s also a plethora of guys that will likely be on this list in April that aren’t here now, I haven’t watched everyone. That said, Leave me a comment letting me know where you think I’m too high or low, or as always I can be found on Twitter @HindenburgScout.

  1. EDGE Chase Young– He’s a special edge talent. Higher than both Bosa’s and Garrett for me.
  2. OT Andrew Thomas– Best tackle I’ve evaluated in recent memory. Tyron Smith level prospect.
  3. S Grant Delpit- Some tackling issues as of late, but he’s an elite playmaker in the secondary.
  4. WR Jerry Jeudy- Route running is next level, so is he.
  5. IDL Derrick Brown- Not getting the love he deserves, he’s a monster in the trenches.
  6. WR CeDee Lamb- He’s a machine, who can win in so many ways. Some teams will have him WR1.
  7. CB Jeffrey Okudah- Playing lights out and flying up draft boards.
  8. QB Joe Burrow- The injury to Tua cements the fastest rising QB prospect I can recall.
  9. IOL Tyler Biadasz- Most under the radar stud right now.
  10. OT Alex Leatherwood- I’m higher here than most. I’m ok with that.
  11. EDGE AJ Epenesa- Slow start cooled the hype, but he’s a force on the edge.
  12. LB Isaiah Simmons- Has been dominant for Clemson. Ultimate chess piece.
  13. CB Treyvon Diggs- Ballhawk capable of blanketing the best college has to offer.
  14. OT Tristan Wirfs- One of the best in a fantastic offensive line class.
  15. QB Tua Tagovailoa- The injury is a concern, but he’s not dropping any lower on my board.
  16. WR Henry Ruggs- Speed kills, and he can run routes and catch to boot. Exciting potential.
  17. IDL Javon Kinlaw- Has made himself serious money this year with consistent dominance.
  18. LB Dylan Moses- The ACL was unfortunate, but he’s still the best pure linebacker in college.
  19. OT Jederick Willis- Another very good player.
  20. IDL Marvin Wilson- All the talent finally clicked. Hand injury could impact declaration.
  21. CB Bryce Hall- Best man coverage corner in the draft for my money.
  22. CB Kristian Fulton- Reminded everyone why he’s always been so highly touted.
  23. QB Jacob Eason- Franchise quarterback if he lands in a good place.
  24. IOL Creed Humphrey- Rock solid on the interior.
  25. EDGE Curtis Weaver- Blue collar football player who is going to be good for a long time.
  26. IOL Trey Smith- Surprised? Watch him play. Medicals biggest factor in his evaluation.
  27. RB Travis Etienne- Has all the tools I covet in a running back.
  28. WR Tee Higgins- Insane catch radius, incredibly good player.
  29. QB Jalen Hurts- Fascinating case study playing out before us. I’m a believer.
  30. CB Paulson Adebo- Not as high on him as others, but he is a good football player.
  31. EDGE Julian Okwara- Playing really good football this year.
  32. S Hamsah Nasirildeen- May fly up draft boards. Makes a ton of plays.
  33. RB D’Andre Swift- Thriving as a lead back in what has been a running back factory.
  34. IDL Raekwon Davis- Disruptor inside, just not on the level as the guys above him.
  35. S Xavier McKinney- Stay tuned.. looking like a gamechanger.
  36. LB Kenneth Murray- Big season has him in first round talks for some.
  37. IDL Neville Gallimore- Conditioning improving this year has him rising.
  38. WR Laviska Shenault Jr.- Swiss army knife, jack of all trades master of none?
  39. WR Tyler Johnson- He’s Mr. Reliable for a competitive Minnesota team.
  40. S Ashtyn Davis- Another defender to keep an eye on. Buzz is building.
  41. RB Cam Akers- He’s going to shock people when he plays behind an actual line.
  42. WR Collin Johnson- Dominant at times, but not enough to be any higher.
  43. CB Shaun Wade- Having a great season, plenty to work with and develop.
  44. EDGE Yetur-Gross Matos- Physical specimen but needs a ton of coaching to be an every down guy.
  45. EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson- Have a feeling I am too low here. Ready to watch more in depth.
  46. TE Brycen Hopkins- Athletic target over the middle, but disappears too often.
  47. RB Johnathon Taylor- Phenomenal runner, wish we saw more of his skillset.
  48. WR Devonta Smith- The receiving core at Alabama puts many NFL teams to shame honestly.
  49. QB Justin Herbert- No, I don’t think 49 is too low. @ me.
  50. OT Lucas Niang- Yes, I think 50 is too low.
Instagram did not return a 200.
